Primary Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for 50 node network and 4 servers. Operating systems on site are Windows XP and 2008 Enterprise Server some Linux is utilized.
My job was to administer heterogeneous server atmosphere, provide technical support for users, all server planning, and deployment, upgrades and software recommendations, T-1 access. All things technical are under my supervision and support.
I also taught a yearlong computer hardware class for 9-12 grades. The class includes content and material that I have created and does not depend on outside texts or material due to budget constraints.
Responsibilities include new sales, product introduction, technical support, implementing new solutions for clients, maintaining multiple site networks, consultations on website development and high speed data solutions. Contracted part-time to small networking companies as a technical engineer for specific projects such as Exchange and Windows 2000. Organized and delivered product demonstrations to large scale businesses for Exchange 5.5 and Windows 2000. Platforms implemented and supported: All MS Back Office products, SBS 4.5, Windows 2000, Novell 4.11, Windows 9x, UPS Online Worldship, ADP, Microsoft Database solutions and Red Hat 6.0. New software development QA.
